ShopDisney UK recently released these pull-back toy car versions of RC and the Pizza Planet truck as part of the Toy Story 25th Anniversary celebrations, and luckily I had a birthday discount code to use with them so these are what I used it on!
The boxes they come in are pretty similar. I like that they are open display boxes as it made them nice and easy to remove and keep the packaging if you wish. They are a lovely size and RC fits nicely with the Mattel line of figures. I suspect these are in fact made by Mattel, but are exclusive to Shop Disney. The detail on him is really nice, and when you pull him back he make sounds like RC in the movie.
The truck is also really nicely detailed, I love the distressing of the paint work. When you pull it back, it makes noises and the Pizza Planet rocket on top also lights up which is a nice touch. Both vehicles also have a button underneath that you can press to make the noises work without having to pull them back to make them go.
I’m really impressed with these. They are great figures; really detailed and a nice size to play with or display. I’d definitely recommend adding them to your collection!
