Today I want to show you another of my favourite items released recently by ShopDisney. A version of this was released a few years ago and I missed getting it and always regretted it, so I was thrilled to see they released it again and snapped one up straight away! It’s an electronic alien space crane/claw machine and it is SO awesome!
The box it comes in is absolutely gorgeous with stunning artwork on the sides. You all know that I de-box most my toys and the boxes usually end up stored in our loft, but I may have to keep this one down as it really is a beauty.
The machine itself is really cool and detailed. The control panel is really cool and vibrant, and I love that it has PRIZE written on the prize release slot just like in the film.
It comes with 10 alien figures which are fairly basic and pretty identical, but they are nice enough. The base inside the machine has images of them printed all over to give the illussiom of more being in there.
Of course, the coolest thing about this though, is that it is in actual working mini claw machine! You move the claw with the joystick and press the yellow button to drop it and try and pick up an Alien. I have to say, it’s pretty hard to pick one up, but it’s super fun and I guess it makes it more realistic to real machines ?
This is such a neat toy and I’m so pleased I’ve finally been able to add one to my collection. It’s going to be so fun to use in photos too, especially with my Herocross figures and the Mattel minis. The one thing I would say is that I think it would have been better if it came with a few more aliens, but I do have others I can add in to it to play so it’s not a huge problem for me personally. I would still absolutely recommend it for any Toy Story fan or collector!
