Nendoroid Winnie the Pooh & Piglet

I’ve been hunting around for a more versatile Winnie the Pooh figure for quite some time and finally decided to give the Nendoroid a go. I have two other Nendoroid figures (Sulley and Mike from Monsters, Inc.) and I love those, so I had quite high hopes for Pooh and I’m pleased to say I wasn’t disappointed.

The box is fairly standard, with a peep through window and images of the figures in various poses on the sides and back of the box. There is a little black and white instruction leaflet inside.

Pooh comes with two faces, a smiley one and a grumpy one. He also has several Interchangeable arm pieces which all enable some cute poses and positions, including a pair that enable him to grip/hold some of the accessories he comes with. In terms of accessories, he comes with a homey pot, a red balloon, and a note from Christopher Robin (plastic, and in Chinese, but still adorable). There is also a ring of honey that can be put around Pooh’s waist. You can have it round his waist with his torso on top as well, but it works best for using with just his rear end, to stick to things to make him look like he’s stuck in a hole whilst getting some honey. His bottom half has magnets in it so you can stick it to magnetic surfaces. I’m hoping to make a few things to use it on, like a bigger honey pot, and maybe a hill that I can use to create the moment Pooh got stuck in Rabbit’s door.

The gripping arm pieces work pretty well and hold the balloon and note nicely. Pooh can stand pretty well on his own too, but he does also have a stand included to keep him more sturdy. Piglet doesn’t have any interchangeable or moving parts like Pooh, he is just a static figure. However, the pose he is in is pretty cute and he’s nicely detailed. He was a little harder to stand by himself but the surface I had him on was slightly uneven, so I secured him in place with a bit of white tac. He does also have his own mini stand too though.

All in all, I’m really thrilled with these figures! I have already had a lot of fun posing and playing with them and I know they are going to be figured I reach for regularly to photograph.
