I’m thrilled to announce that I am now a brand rep for Mouse Scouts so I thought I would do a blog post to tell you all about what Mouse Scouts actually is!
Its run by Bethan and Adam whom you may know from Bishop, Please!, and basically, it’s a bit like scouts in that you can collect badges for different achievements; but the achievements are all Disney related! There are so many different badges already available, all relating to tasks or things you can do at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris. For example, the Dragon Hunter badge signifies that you found Maleficent at Disneyland Paris, or the Survived Beverly badge lets people know that you tasted Beverly at Club Cool in Epcot and lived to tell the tale!
You can buy a Starter Pack for £10 which includes a Mouse Scouts lanyard for you to proudly display your badges on, a poster checklist so you can mark off which badges you’ve got, a Mouse Scouts members badge, plus any three badges of your choice from the badges available, to start you off. You can then purchase additional badges each time you achieve something new for £1.50 each (they have free postage on everything).
All the current badges relate to achievements you can accomplish in Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris, but they will be adding new badges regularly, including ones related to things you can do outside of the parks too (such as Disney on Ice, Disney Store opening ceremonies etc), so even if you don’t visit any of the parks, you can still join the club and unlock some awesome Disney achievements.
You can also join the special Facebook group which is already becoming a really nice little community of friendly Disney fans, plus if you join that, you can get the super special Facebook Frinds badge which is exclusively available to people that join the Facebook group.
It’s such an awesome concept and I am so thrilled to be a brand rep for them. I can’t wait to earn some more badges and keep adding to my lanyard! That’s if Poppy will let me have it back…
